New tat

Here is my new tat! It was quite painful, getting one on the top of my foot but I love it! The Wilmas are getting tattoos together. 4 of us got them Saturday and we had a blast. This was the day after our champagne party. Of course I still don't have a camera so you will have to go to Angie  or Jenn or Shannon s' blogs to check out the really cool pictures. They are way better bloggers than me anyhow. Make sure you check out Amy's video. You will see getting a tat on the top of your foot isn't for everyone. We had an awesome weekend & I couldn't ask for better friends.  Shane said he was going to get one on his butt that says EXIT ONLY!! He says this will come in handy if he ever goes to prison.

No train riding here

Sorry..no train pictures. BUMMER. Because of this crappy weather, we didn't go to Lewistown. We woke up Saturday to a blizzard and didn't want to chance getting into an accident or getting snowed in up there. They were expecting 2 feet of snow. I know..I know. We should be thankful for the moisture mother nature is providing. But when you step outside because you need to venture to Wal Mart to get stuff to make more Christmas goodies and your nose hairs freeze and you can't see because your eyes are watering and they freeze shut, you just can't be thankful this all will melt and be good for farming and fishing in the spring & summer. I guess we should be thankful we still have power. With highs around -13, BE THANKFUL...things could be worse.

The Wilmas are getting together this weekend for our annual Christmas party. It should be loads of fun. Whenever we get together, it is loads of fun. Here is a picture of Billings. BRRRRRRRR

Finally...a post

Well I finally got the pictures off Shane's camera from Thanksgiving weekend in Gardiner. WOW...I hope Santa reads

this because I would LOVE it if he brought me a new camera since my in caput! Still wet from me falling into the Stillwater River while fly fishing. I thought by now it may work but it turns on but just a white screen and takes just white pictures. GRRR! It has thrown me for a loop blogging and I apologize. But thanks to Shane....here are some pictures from Thanksgiving and (sorry Deb) his first bull elk! And the meat is so delicious! I am still zero for zero for my elk. I could have had one last weekend but some idiot hunters shot into a heard of about 30 about 15 minutes before shooting time...which is so illegal. They got their elk and scared the rest onto private land.

It's the most wonderful time of the year!

Sorry for not posting pictures from last weekend. Shane got his elk! WOO HOO! A nice 5x5 bull elk. He was so excited. I don't think as excited as TJ was! So we are heading back out this weekend since they extended the season for another month. So Shane has one more tag to fill and I am still at ZERO so I hope to fill 2. So hopefully we will have plenty of elk to share.

I am going to finish my Christmas cards today and get them mailed out. WOO HOO! I am also done with my Christmas shopping. I am so excited about that because I hate fighting people in the stores. It is such a crazy time to shop and I am not much of a shopper. I love to find a good bargain but just to go shopping...it just isn't for me. I need to get cracking on my Christmas baking. I love to bake. I baked some easy cheesecakes this week for a dessert auction. They were easy and quite tasty. So now I need to make Rosettes which I love to make & they are so good. They kind of taste like a funnel cake but they take forever to make. I may also make Ritz filled with peanut butter & dipped in chocolate. I am also going to make some toffee cookies for a work cookie exchange. So that may be all I make. I'll see how much time I have. Next weekend is Polar Express. The following weekend is Wilma party & work party. And then it's CHRISTMAS! I guess I should decorate a little in my house. I did get my decorations out since we are decorating our doors at work for a contest and needed some ideas and/or decorations.
So I hope you are having a good time getting ready for Christmas. I know I am.
And how cool is it that the Capitol Christmas tree came from Montana?
