I had a wonderful time in Key West FL. WOW! What a fun little tourist town. We had a wonderful time. We spent time on the beach, shopping, eating seafood, enjoying sunsets, went to a national park, snorkeled, learned about treasure hunter Mel Fisher who married a gal from Worden, MT and the highlight was skydiving. What a rush! We had a blast.

Get ready Key West
Well I am in the midst of packing. Shorts, swimming suits, flip flops everywhere. I wish someone would just tell me what I will need and I would pack those items. I always overpack. I just don't like going somewhere and forgetting something. I know it will be in the 80s in Key West. But sometimes evenings in humid weather can be a little chilly. But no I won't be packing any jeans. Yesterday when I got to work it was 46 degrees & the same for today. Trent said it was snowing in the park. BRRRRR And I won't complain in the heat because I will be on a BEACH & be able to cool off in the ocean! I CANNOT WAIT! The pics are a couple of places we will be going to visit.
I'll be posting my pictures when I return. I'll miss you but don't worry. I'll be thinking of you when I am on the beach drinking a fruity beverage. Check out this web cam. It is a cam on Duval Street in Key West.

Summmmertime
Shane & I didn't know what we were getting ourselves into at Deadman's Basin, which is outside of Ryegate. We had never been there before. There was a 30% chance of rain. We headed through the Big Coulee between Rapelje & Ryegate on the long gravel road. What a road! So we made it to the Basin. There isn't a whole lot there. Not many trees. But we found a great spot to pitch our tent. Then we went fishing. I caught 4 Kokanee salmon. The weather was perfect with some breeze. We got some sun, probably too much but we had fun. There weren't many boats so we had a great time fishing from the shore, which a few campers camped right on the beach. It was great. Then we got home to find out Carl Edwards too 2nd in the Dover race!
